Live route metrics
See current speed, distance, trip duration, average speed, max speed, and recent trip context while you drive.
RouteLocker is an iPhone app for route and trip logging with live speed metrics, saved locations, export tools, backup and restore, and a strict on-device privacy model. This site explains how it works, how to troubleshoot it, and how to get support quickly.
RouteLocker tracks driving sessions with live speed and trip metrics, stores recent trips and saved locations on-device, and gives you export and backup tools when you decide to use them.
See current speed, distance, trip duration, average speed, max speed, and recent trip context while you drive.
Trips can be logged automatically during use, then manually added or edited later. Manually changed trips are visibly marked with an “M”.
Keep common sites handy, search for and add new ones, and optionally auto-stop near a selected destination.
Export trip data to CSV or XLS, create backups, restore from backup, or export debug logs when you choose. Nothing is sent automatically.
RouteLocker supports themes without compromising clarity. The support experience follows the same principle: direct, readable, and utility-focused.
Trips, locations, notes, settings, and debug data stay on your device unless you explicitly export or share them.
RouteLocker is built around local control. The developer does not automatically receive your route history, saved locations, notes, settings, or logs. Exports, backups, restores, and debug log sharing are all user-initiated actions.
If you only need the essentials, these are the fastest support pages to use.
Learn the trip start, stop, and reset flow, how saved sites work, and where to export or restore data.
Find short answers about location access, speed readings, export formats, manual markers, and backups.
Use the mailto contact flow to send a structured support request without adding a backend data pipeline.
RouteLocker behavior can differ slightly by release and by iOS version. If you contact support, include your RouteLocker version, iOS version, and device model. You can usually find this in the app’s settings/about area and in iPhone Settings.
