Feature reference

Built for driving utility, not noise.

RouteLocker focuses on the parts that matter: live route metrics, reliable trip logs, useful exports, and a privacy model that keeps your data on-device unless you choose otherwise.

SpeedLive gauge

Instant at-a-glance current speed while driving.

Trip dataDistance and duration

Track time and distance for each route session.

Trip dataAverage and max speed

Review key speed metrics after or during a trip.

HistoryRecent trips

Keep route logging practical and easy to review.

Live speed gauge

Shows your current speed in a simple dashboard-style view designed for quick reading. Responsiveness depends on GPS signal quality and active location permission.

Trip start, stop, and reset

Start a trip when you begin driving, stop when you are done, and reset as needed to clear the current session before a new route.

Trip Logger

Review route history with key metrics. This helps you check recent drives without sending your data anywhere else.

Manual trip add and edit

You can add a trip by hand or correct a logged trip later. RouteLocker marks manually modified entries with an “M” so they remain easy to identify.

Saved locations and sites

Keep regular places close at hand, search for and add a new site, and use saved destinations to reduce repetitive entry.

Optional auto-stop

When enabled with a selected destination, RouteLocker can stop a trip automatically as you approach that saved site.

CSV and XLS export

Export trip data into spreadsheet-friendly formats when you need reporting, archiving, or personal review.

Backup and restore

Create a backup file when you want a local copy, and restore it later on demand. This is user-driven, not automatic cloud collection.

Debug log export

If support needs diagnostics, you can export a debug log yourself and choose whether to share it.
