RouteLocker does not collect your data.
RouteLocker is designed so your information stays on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, rent, analyze, or share your personal information, trip data, saved locations, notes, or usage history.
Your information stays local unless you choose otherwise.
Saved locations, coordinates, trip history, trip notes, preferences, and backup-related data are intended for personal, on-device use. RouteLocker is built for private route organization, not behavioral tracking or social sharing.
Information RouteLocker may store on your device
- Saved locations, including names, notes, groups, and coordinates
- Trip history and trip summaries
- Trip notes you create
- Preferences such as appearance, units, and navigation settings
- Backup status information and backup files you create
Information we do not collect
- Your live location or route history
- Your saved destinations or coordinates
- Your trip notes
- Your backup files
- Your usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or behavioral profiles
When data leaves the device
RouteLocker does not send your data anywhere automatically. Data only leaves the device when you take a direct action, such as exporting your data or sharing a saved location with another person or app.
1. Data collection
We collect nothing through normal app use.
RouteLocker does not collect personal information, trip data, saved locations, notes, or device usage data from the app during ordinary operation.
2. Data sharing
There is no automatic sharing.
RouteLocker does not automatically transmit your information to the developer, to third-party analytics providers, or to advertising networks.
3. Exports and backups
User-initiated actions are under your control.
If you export your data, create a backup, import-and-merge data, or perform a restore, those actions happen because you chose them. The app does not silently upload those files.
4. Shared locations
Sharing happens only when you trigger it.
If you choose to share a saved location, that information is sent only through the sharing method you selected. That is a user action, not background collection.
5. Children’s privacy
No special collection because there is no collection.
Because RouteLocker does not collect personal information through the app, it does not knowingly gather personal data from children or any other users through backend systems.
6. Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the app’s privacy behavior changes.
If RouteLocker’s data practices ever change, this privacy policy should be updated before or alongside that change so the support site continues to describe the app accurately.
